From Brasília, born and raised in Taguatinga. Vini Moreira has a degree in Cinema from "Instituto de Ensino Superior de Brasília" (IESB) and specialized in animation, editing and color grading. After college, he entered the advertising scene as a motion designer, working for clients such as: Febrafite, OAB (Brazilian Bar Association), CBIC (Brazilian chamber of the construction industry), Budweiser, Spaten, SESI, SENAI, CNI, Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Economy, Garena FreeFire, Rock in Rio, Itaú bank, SICOOB bank, as well as working as a composite artist in Alê Abreu's (The Boy and The World, 2013) new feature animation, "Perlimps" (2023).
Focusing on his career as a director, in 2019, he directed the short “Quantas Luzes Bonitas”, which entered two national and one international festival (India), and continued in the director's chair with “Embaixapa” (2020), a shortfilm that entered more than 10 international film festivals.
"Ludmilla" is the first funded shortfilm in Vini's career. The short premiered as the only Brazilian short film in the competitive section of the 40th Osnabrück Film Festival. Its national premiere was at the 18th Taguatinga Film Festival, where it received the Audience Award. At the 13th Curta Brasília, the short film received the "best short film" award from the Brasília Association of Cinema and Video (ABCV).
